My pieces are made of solid hardwood using species native to Michigan, although other wood species can be obtained. While I prefer to use natural finishes, painted objects can also be created. Traditional joinery, mortise & tenon and dovetailed drawers; this is the foundation of all designs. I believe in using the natural resource to its optimum. Where slight imperfections in the wood are thought to enhance its beauty, strengthen its character and give it unique personality.
